I received a text message from 657-666-9937 withbsomeone claiming to be Katie Pratt. I was suspicious about a Skype interviews because I always get asked for Zoom and Teams. This was a data Entry job on Indeed

I got a text from 5138801410, "I am Mrs Katie Pratt from the company ( The Alford Group ). Your resume which you posted on Indeed has been reviewed by our company and you have been selected for an online interview with the company. Reply back with YES if you are interested. Thank you." They sent me a check for $4442.00 which bounced and I was charged $12.71 for the bounced check. They may be using The Alford Group name to scam people. Or it could be the Aford Group themselves. I don't know.

I am experiencing from a 5148801410 stating they are with this company. Had I not googled to review if this company conducted interviews via Skype I would’ve just been hacked. Thanks for this review hope this helps someone else.

An individual reached out to our office after receiving an email to interview for a data entry position from ZipRecruiter. The scammer while impersonating one of our staff conducted an interview on Skype and offered the position.
