Executive recruiter reached out with a valid LinkedIn profile, and a valid job posting and asked if I would like to apply. After some conversation, they sent me to an executive resume coach to build my resume for the role. The coach quoted me some options for packages, I struggled with the price, but landed on the lowest options. I sent some work history and overall job details and they built me a resume. The first review was not great and felt a bit generic. I provided more job history details, and they built a better resume. I was happy with it, as I was under a time crunch to apply (so they said). The recruiter said they would move me forward in the application. I was then sent information to pay, but the account had nothing to do with the business name, and I did not recognize the number, and my bank flagged it as suspicious. After that I realized what happened and reported it.
