I received an email from a possible funder (Tender Life Ministries) on January 7, which I replied two days to inquire about a process to apply for a grant. I received an email stating they would give our charity $2,200 every two weeks with another one in Kenya receiving $3,400 during the same period. Nothing was stated in this second email on how to apply. I did reply on January 12, requesting annual reports, giving history and listing of staff and board members. I have not received any response since then.

Their website had no history of giving or information about their board members who vet potential recipients. I checked the IRS charity search and New York Secretary of State websites to confirm if they were registered 501(c)3 in Flushing, New York as they claimed on their website. Neither site had them listed. There is very little on the web about this ministry except for their website and the founder's twitter account, which has very little activity.
