We kept on requesting for a detail email about the deal they were offering and they kept on saying we will send you soon. We phone them many times to see where is our contract and they kept on ignoring us. Then on December 4, 2020 we received the phones and The next day Dec 5th we received a call from Oliver Alexander (#7051) from the same Telus Mobile Shop and he wanted us to give him the serial number on the phones and see if they can be connected. It was a wrong order and the phones were not the ones we ordered. They were both IPhone- 12 ProMax with 1 pair of earbuds . So he said to return them by purolator and they will refund us the cost ($81.43) which we have still not received.
We kept on phoning them every day to see what happened about our phones but no one returned our calls or they did not pick up their phone.
In the meantime, we had already called Telus Webstore Department to report this and they told us that this was definately a scam and fraud. So on January 14, 2021 a Telus representative from Fraud Management called us and told us that they are investigating this fraud and said that they will try to refund us the amount of $404.99 for the phones but were not sure about the cost (81.43) of returning the phones to the fraudsters.
I hope that these fraudsters are caught and not target any more people.
