I was having a problem printing with my HP DeskJet 2540 printer and went looking for technical support to resolve the issue. I wound up being connected with a "Hazel Smith" at +1-321-441-2835. I was given a ticket # ReQ2086TC. I was then transferred to another "technician" and assigned case # VE6558WA. TechRepair365 (+1(800)867-9181) sent me a contract consisting of seven (7) pages that showed my credit card payment of $3208.00 for "services rendered & lifetime support". The Agreement was listed as being with "X Digitech". When I tried to print some documents from my computer's printer this morning (8/26/2026), I was unable to do so, encountering the same problem I had prior to contacting TechRepair365. I did a google search of the company and came across info that led me to believe that this was all a SCAM! I immediately contacted my CapitalOne Visa Card provider and submitted a "fraud alert".
