They sent me the following address to pick up a dog I was looking at with them- Jaden Scott 19 Emerald Ridge Cove, Jackson, Tn Due to above, I have cancelled my request to adopt. Thank god I didnt send them any money Mindy Skura

I initially found the group Free Rescued Yorkies for adoption. This page is still active and they actually have several FB pages with a variation of the name. On the Facebook page, they have pictures of the cutest Yorkers - along with a bio on how the puppies were rescued. For example - parents got divorced, moving for a job, elderly who got sick. Along with their age and weight, vaccinations and health history.

I sent a message inquiring about the adoption process for out of state adoptions. They were very communicative and answered all my questions. They even sent a video when I asked for testimonials from other families who have adopted from them. I told them to was looking for a female who ideally was housebroken. They sent pictures of Ginger and told me it would cost $450. $250 as a hold and the other $200 to upon delivery. They even stated they had a Yorkie Nanny who would deliver the puppies to the nearest airport. know that is a cheap price for an expensive dog - but the people in the organization insisted the fees were just to cover vet fees to ensure the health of the animals.

When I asked about moving forward on Ginger, they sent me an adoption application. I downloaded it and filled it out - sent it back. The next morning I was contacted via email and text. Not recognizing the number from the text, I googled it and found their website. Looks like a totally legit website and company. I combed through the pictures of the dogs, and saw all the same ones from Facebook. The only discrepancy I saw was that Ginger looked very different and it stated she was 7 years and not 7 months.

I asked the question about the discrepancy and was told that it was a typo. They asked if I had Zelle. And they asked when I would like it delivered (did Thursday or Saturday work?). I explained that I couldn’t have her delivered until after the 12th of April. They said the $250 was a hold and made sure she wasn’t adopted by somebody else before then.

They then sent me the Zelle information. When I put it in my bank to transfer the money - the bank said it was invalid information. I took a screenshot and sent it via text. I then attempted to put the name and number of the organization in Zelle. Message stated I needed to enter a number that could receive texts.

At that point, I revisited the website and contacted them with all this same information. Never heard back from the person texting or the organization. I continued to look into them and found a similar complaint on scam pulse.

I absolutely believe this organization is an elaborate scam. It’s sad that there are such [censored]ty people out there who would go to such great lengths to take advantage of people.

This is the information they had me send the Zelle to. I am so thankful it didn’t work! I’ve also included screenshots of a few of their Facebook pages!

The scammer has a huge presence on FB Marketplace as Rescued Yorkies for Adoption Only. I contacted them through email [email protected]. They sent the application for adoption and then had me PayPal $400 for Stella. They also have a website called Rescued Puppies for Adoption.com. The phone number associated with all of the above is 423-435-0889. The email I received was from Henry Thadayo for the money. He gave me the address to pick up the little rescue named Stella which was 19 Emerald Ridge Cove, Jackson, Tennessee. The day I was driving up I was contacted by someone named Hildah Bianky. She told me they were conmen and she had the dog if I wanted to pay her. She said she was working with the police to stop the scam. This needs to be removed from FB. On their FB you are unable to post so you cannot let anyone know they will be scammed. This is an incredible operation and needs to be shut down. I kept all emails of correspondence. I am unable to upload them. I can forward them if you send an address.
