I was notified by IRS mail to schedule an appointment to discuss/review an old IRS statement at my local IRS office. This was to be done no later than a date set by the IRS. I kept calling the local office but because of limited hours, I was unable to speak with an IRS representative. I went online and saw the website for TAXEXPERTNOW.com. The person I spoke with implied that he was a contracted 3rd party of the IRS and could answer any question for a refundable charge of $5.00. He said he would not be able to help me with scheduling. I ended my call and my credit card was hit for $65.00. I just got my August credit card statement and another charge hit, this time for $70.00.

Taxexpertnow.com has attempted to charge my credit card repeatedly for two $65.00 charges. My credit card company has blocked them and has changed my card several times but they seem to keep getting it. Apparently they think it is a recurring charge for a subscription. I have never subscribed to their service!

Attempted to print 1099 for social security for tax purposes. they said there would be a $5.00 refundable charge. Gave credit card info. As we went along they wanted more info. I didn't feel comfortable and hung up. My credit card was charged for $65.00. My credit card company informed me I could still use my card. a month later I was charged again for same amount. My card company asked me if this was me I said NO. They stopped my card and will send me a new one.

Looks like I would have had a 65 dollar charge every month. Did loose $65.00 for the first one.

1st payment my error then charged again the next month for a total of $65.
