Just like another person reported, I was contacted via LinkedIn to send my resume to Tavian Bancroft for an Instruction Designer role. I reached out to Yifat Sharabi-Levine who sounds like a légitimité person from Catalyst Circles and she assured me it was a valid opportunity. They then sent me interview questions via email (normal questions), and then immediately that day, offered me a position with one day to accept the offer. They sent a contract and offer and asked me to buy MacBook Pro, 3.2GHz processor with 27-inch 5K display, 10-bit monitor, external hard drive/backup system, surge protectors, additional remote-work setup tools as needed. They also put Adele Davenport as the HR representative. I researched the company and that is a residential address, the salary was comparable to a larger organization —not a one-person company. I could not find Tavian or Adele on LinkedIn or anywhere else. I did not reply, but saw complains on here and Reddit against Catalyst.
