We have been contacted as well by phone. They want all the information from our timeshares bought in the past and claim that they will try to get our money back. I don't think they are to be trusted either. This would be the second time we are approached about this and nothing happened from the first " investigation". Do not pay for anything up front nor after. They will ask you to pay the "taxes" before you get your money, then bilk you out of that as well. It happened to us.

Sub Procuraduria de Servicios y Verificacion

We were contacted by phone first then with email followup claiming that we might be able to get money returned from when we were scammed in the past when attempting to get rid of a timeshare. We are very skeptical of this, with good reason I think. They sent a couple of forms to fill out describing what/how we were scammed.
