This shipping company that doesn't exist was used by another scammer, posing as Duls Engineering, as part of a shipping payment scam. The individual claiming to be with the engineering company requested a quote from my company and then requested that I get a freight quote from this third-party shipping company. I was then asked to add the shipping cost to my quote and the engineering company immediately tried to provide a 20% deposit for the services, even though I had not yet asked for a deposit. The credit card they attempted to use was declined. Had it been accepted and if I paid the fraudulent shipping company, I would likely have lost nearly $10,000 on the chargeback for the fraudulent card purchase.
