Scammed for a Maine Coon kitten through Facebook and a pet courier service.

The person in question, Cassandra Gibb and her husband Jmaryn Davis of Atlanta, GA, had advertised in a group on Facebook selling Maine [censored] kittens. I contacted the person after checking other person's remarks and the administrator of the group support. I contacted them on May 8, 2023 via Facebook through the group. They finally got back to me on June 21, 2023 and said they did have several Maine [censored] kittens for sale and the cost was $1000. $500 up front and then the remainder on delivery. Then on June 23, 2023, the sellers contacted me again and said they needed another $300 to pay for the vet fee to get the kitten certified and the rest of the kitten's shots. They agreed to not charge the additional $500 upon delivery but just the remainder of $200 upon delivery. They were supposed to personally deliver the kitten to me today, July 1, 2023. That never happened. They turned the cat over to a pet courier service, Smooth Moving Logistics, to send via airplane without discussing this with me. Supposedly they have used this pet courier service for years. I could have driven to Atlanta to pick the cat up instead of them sending to the supposed pet courier. This wound up costing another $1500 via Smooth Moving Logistics. Trying to be understanding I paid that amount as well, which I did not have. I had to borrow it because I am on disability. Just as the cat supposedly was getting ready to be boarded on the plane, they contacted me and told me I needed to pay for a different kind of crate than already paid for included in the $1500. This new charge was $6000. At this point I finally accepted what I was afraid of that I had been scammed/defrauded. The courier has threatened to report me for pet abandonment. I just want everyone to know that Cassandra Gibb and Jmaryn Davis along with Smooth Moving Logistics is not to be trusted. As of today, July 1, 2023, I am not able to see said group on Facebook. Which means they either removed it or blocked me from being able to see it. I still have all the emails from the Smooth Moving Logistics and the messages between me and Gibb/Davis on Facebook messenger.
