The same thing happend to me, I shared my info should I be scared? I shared my name, adress, city, zip code, state, and number.

I had someone message me saying they were named Henderson Cherri and had a son. Then they proceeded to leave a really long email, with the name being Fedrick Thomas, talking about having a 6 year old daughter named Jessica. They wanted me to run errands to pay for furniture and to meet them as the closest McDonalds when they arrive to my state. They wanted me to pay for installments at Walmart.
The same

I made an account with sitter a couple months ago and never heard anything, until today. I was going through my spam emails and unsubscribing and I turned off notifications from sitter. Not even five minutes later I received a text saying I had a message from a person named Lone, so I went on the website and I had received two message which basically said the same thing just, a minute apart from each other. They both said things along the lines of “I need a sitter for my grandson and to run errands please email me for more details”. I’m not sure the email was even a real email considering it said @workemail,com. After this experience I think I’m just going to delete my account.

Update: I emailed them because I was curious and it is the same email several other people on here have received. She is deaf and needs help with paying the furniture company. Anywho their email is [email protected].

I was excited that someone wanted a babysitter but things started getting weird she kept emailing me and texting me early in the morning and said she was going to payroll a check to me even though I haven't even worked with her yet and we never spoke on the phone she asked me what type of bank account I have my address and where to meet up but I never met with her cause she never spoke to me on the phone. So I blocked her number to show she won't have any further contact with me. I hope you can track this person down, please

Recently uploaded my babysitting job on this site I got a match with this lady name Leah johnson and she wanted me to babysit her 5-year-old girl named Lisa and her email was very wordy and said meet her at Walmart and she was going to give me a check I will never go on that site again been scammed twice very annoyed cause I really wanted a position

Exactly the same, just i blocked her the moment she wouldn’t send me details of the job. I cant believe that now it is July and she still has access on sitter.com
Bad job on sitter for allowing people like Emily J to have access to paying members

Well with this not so good... I am a single mom and really looked forward to watching kids then the only one They recommend I get this

I went on sitter.com and they said they had a match and someone looking to hire a baby sitter her name was Emily Johnson and at first she said she was moving from San Francisco California to Saginaw Mi and asked for my resume then she said she would let me stay and if I could help with her mother when she got there in March and I said yes then she did she hired me and she did she was hard of hearing so she couldn't talk on the phone so could only communicate through text and email .. then asked if I could cash a check through her Payroll manager..Paul smith to help pay for her furniture which she needed help situation everything before she arrived she had a 5 year old banned Jason and her mom's name was supposedly Jessica Johnson she sent me pics and a ID that looked fake so I started looking and the number for Paul Smith came up and it was the same story as mine for a fraudulent check hard hearing, moving from out of state needed help with the furniture guy went by Annette in that story so please be careful IT'S A SCAM. I caked my bank and told them the story and they did not charge me... Be aware and she did she was ashamed of me that I think she would do such a thing and would not answer the phone she got upset when I said I don't care I just want you to say your name and she wanted me to send the check back but instead I had the bank do there job so she couldn't scam someone else..Paul's number was text only (346)202-5272 and email address of [email protected]
This lady was hard to find until I looked up Paul Smith and I found 3 story's just alike..

This sounds so much like my situation. This Emily us looking for a sitter for her 5 yr old son and she said in a text she was hard hearing. She wants to mail me a check $400 for me and $1850 for furniture, repairs in the house, pay her Mom’s bills. What do I do?!?!
