I placed an order on Shrimpboxx.com, believing it to be a legitimate source for organic meat and seafood. The website appeared professional, and I received a confirmation email after placing my order, followed by an email stating my order had shipped. However, no tracking number was provided.
When I contacted their customer support via chat, the representative was unprofessional and even mocked me by “lol’ing” at the end of the conversation. I was told I would receive a tracking number by the end of the day, but it never arrived. The next day, I reached out again, but they stopped responding entirely.
I then called the phone number listed on their website, but the voicemail stated the party was “unavailable.” Suspecting I’d been scammed, I checked their Instagram page, where I saw numerous comments from others labeling the business as a scam.
I immediately reported the issue to my bank, which thankfully issued me a refund. Shrimpboxx.com needs to be held accountable for its fraudulent practices. I urge others to avoid this site and hope action is taken to prevent further scams.
