Scam - not a survey

Pretty much same as the others - free earbuds but then later charged my credit card. I reported this to my bank. I also send them an email demanding my money back and received a reply that I should call them. So I did, of course they did not have my order but assured my several times they are not a scam. So total scam.

I filled out a survey and was to receive EarPods if I paid shipping. I sent the money (13.99 I think). Yesterday I received a set of EarPods which was fine. However I have now been billed $126.99 for the EarPods (56.95) and some sort of subscription for 2 weeks for 39.95. I am guessing that this is US so change to Canadian money gives the $126. This is not what was presented and a subscription was never mentioned ( neither was the charge for the EarPods. I cannot wear the EarPods as I have hearing aids and would like to return them and get my money back. It appears ShipNow Pay Later does not take responsibility for what they are distributing. I cannot seem to find the manufacturer as there is nothing on the box.

I received an email from COSTCO to fill out a survey. Which I did. The survey offered a free gift if I completed it. I filled out the survey, paid for shipping of the product. While I was still waiting for the item, I noticed that my credit card gets charged an additional $66.43 USD. I contacted shipnowpaylater (SNPL) customer support for explanation. They said that the $66.43 USD is for monthly subscription fee. I told them I never signed for a monthly fee and this information was never communicated to me when I ordered the product. They said it was in the original email they sent me. I reviewed the email, and it only talks about gift code and store coupons. It does not say anything at all about the monthly subscription fee of $66.42 USD. I emailed SNPL to cancel the so-called subscription and refund the fee they charged me $66.43 USD. I am waiting to hear from them. This charge is made directly by SNPL itself (not by other sellers) but they refused to refund me. Stay away from them

Scammed me

I was scammed by this company thinking I was getting a “prize” of the smart watch. Only pay the shipping fee but as I found out they charged my credit card for the watch. I called at least a dozen times, they also said I bought a subscription……….”to what” I said. . I sent the watch back but because I didn’t read the fine print & get a tracking # ( my fault) they said there was nothing they could do. The one thing that really pissed me off was the operator kept saying I was bullying her on the phone & then hung up on me.
In the end I’ll get back $62 but it took many calls.

Same here but no survey.

Received email from shipnowpaylater.com. There was an order number and transaction detail for a smart watch and access to vip store. Called 800 number on email. Talked to someone who didn't really seem professional. I immediately checked my bank transactions and saw the $7.95 charge to a tacticalstopshop.com. Of course I had no idea what this was. Called my bank and cancelled my debit card and transaction.

My dad clicked on this for a $12 watch, and before we realized what was going on, they billed him for over 100 for the "full price" of the watch, plus a 40 buck a month monthly subscription. SNEAKY abuse of OLDER FOLKS!

Ear Bud WalMart Survey Scam!!

A so-called Quick survey scam is in place to get your money! I did the survey as a quick way to see what I might be eligable for as I've done a couple of these for WM with no issue (for my local store). I paid the shipping ($7.95) on 12/22/2022. I got the buds on the 30th, happy with the product. As of 1/5/2023, I began getting notification of a charge from SUPABATHROOMDEAL.COM for $11.45. I'd never shopped here do I declined the sale to my cc. it kept trying to process until I called my cc to find out what was going on. I AM A READER OF FINE PRINT. This site had NO SUCH INFO. Please be aware! Don't even try to call, they'll never answer 1-800-203-9410

It looks like you fill out a survey In our case it was supposedly for Shoppers Drug Mart. They offer you a "free" watch thank you for $9.50 shipping. A couple of weeks later we had 2 charges for 99 US.

I have no idea what this is about - ship now pay later 844-951-0204 I called & was on hold for 30 minutes I believe this is a scam & will call my bank to investigate this further. A site called SAVE BRITAIN recommended a SMART WATCH off at well reduced price by this mob. I was wary on checking so left it alone, but later the same site emailed to say that
'Due to an accidental overstock in their warehouse… Our friends at Tactical Britain are doing a “Last Minute Giveaway” and giving out their viral Smart Watch Pro FREE today.'
This then entailed paying around £8 carriage charge, so I tried it as a possible gift and weeks later recieved the tiem, but minues the chraging lead, so it is useless. Emails to them and SAVE BRITIAN have gone unanswered, even though I have gastigated the latter, as they are supposed to be a political site. I have been suspicious of the site for a while now, as they advertise a lot ofproducts, so feel that the political information is likely collected from other sites as a cover for their retail activigties. If genune, would they not be worried at havin recommended a scam site. The latter proven when a while after receiving this 'watch', they attempted to debit my credit card for £79. This was blocked by my bank! So beware of anything connected with free watch or otheroffers online , SHIP NOW PAY LATER, or SAVE BRITAIN!

SHOPPERS DRUG MART SURVEY

Took a survey which made it appear it was from Shoppers Drug Mart which I use frequently. As a thank you it was offering a choice of **FREE** gift which I stupidly fell for and selected a dash cam but I had to pay for shipping costs, $19, with my credit card. It arrived shortly after and now have had 2 months of two separate charges on my credit card, one for $70.97 and one for $27.97. I am in the process of returning the dash cam. I have cancelled that card and Capital One fortunately has reversed the charges as fraudulent activity. Please beware of Ship Now Pay Later or DigiHome Life or Brave New Brands. The charges on the credit card come through as DigiHome Life and Brave New Brands. The fact that I did not even have to make my case to convince the credit card company and they just put through a credit to my account for those charges makes me think they have heard about this many many times before. I really feel like an [censored] for falling for this scam.

Going through the same thing. Within 20 days of my 'free' gift purchase, I've been charged $140 twice plus a bonus charge of $50 for an escort service. Imagine if your partner saw those charges during a tested time in the relationship. Game over. These people should be held accountable for more than just simple fraud.

Oh my GOD.
I was tricked, too, but I immediately canceled my subscription. Unfortunately, I paid 9.99 USD for shipping and got an expense report in 2 weeks.
I called them and LONG STORY SHORT, the Indian lady over the phone said: we mentioned all this in the ad.
She says that when you get the item, return it and we will refund the shipment.
I lost the shipping costs, however, I need to send the item back at my own cost. That means two shipments!
I'll lose the shopping expenses.
What is the best way of recovering all that money?
Of course, shortly after the reception, I shall return at the same time.
This is a SCAM!

Just as the others said. They reached out i did the survey and paid $13 CAD. I received the cheap watch. Then they charged $134 a couple weeks later for nothing! Dont believe these people. I even called to make sure it wasnt a scam after i paid the $13 nd that there wouldnt be anymore charges for anything else. She insisted there would be no other charges.

Look out for email scam offering free gifts

Received email supposedly from Costco asking to complete survey and and receive a free gift. I got caught in this scam and they got the shipping charges,15$ from me. Now I have cancelled my credit card so they cannot get me on other scams.
There are 3 web sites involved 1. Shipnowpaylater.com, 2.wildvipstore.com and 3. Bathniche.com was the web site that was shown on my credit card statement.
These people should be arrested and jailed

This company is a fraud. You don’t win anything. You’re basically doing a survey and then pay for shipping and they’ll charge you full price a few weeks later. I cancelled my card before they had the chance to charge me full price. They have some so called company where people answer and lie. Cancel your card if they have your info.

Why Are These People Still Getting Away With This

This came to me via a promo email. The offer was to complete a survey for a FREE smart watch. Recipient to pay only for S&H of $7.95. Once they have your credit card number for S&H, you are charged for the full price of the merchandise plus a recurring monthly fee of $39.95 for membership to wildvipstore.com. There is nothing said in the promo (pre-order) that tells you what you are buying. You will get both an order and shipping confirmation AFTER you pay for shipping. Cancel your credit card immediately or they will keep billing it every month. Cancellation is possible only by calling them at 800-203-9410 . . . and they NEVER pick up. I have noted from other reports that they appear to be different businesses when they bill. The payee on the credit card in this case was listed as Incredio Audio. I have lost $111.00 and there appears to be no way to retreive it. This was the emailed answer from customer support: Hello,

Thank you for contacting customer support. As stated on the order terms, the promotion you selected is based on ShipnowPaylater program. I see you selected to receive one of our product where you paid shipping and handling charges in advance and after 15 days are up; you will be billed for the retail value of the product. We immediately shipped you your product along with a $200 in-store credit for our member only gadget store wildvipstore.com. In 15 days (10+5), your credit card will be automatically charged the discounted retail price of $71.50. I had the exact same issue. An older relative was duped into filling out a survey for the free Smartwatch. It's crap, it was $7.95 for shipping. Thankfully we cancelled the credit card and reported fraud. I am trying now to ship the dam thing back.
