This company pretended to already be my home warranty company by sending me past due notices with my mortgage company information. When we called they said we would be renewing the service, we are signed with American Home Shield so it was assumed we were re-signing with them. When I received an e-mail from a generic Home Warranty company instead, I asked to cancel. The company has since refused to cancel and says I also owe them money. I will not pay for a scam, and they continue to call about a "past due balance" for a scam warranty.

A final notice was emailed to the home stating that the home warranty connected with the mortgage was expiring. When speaking to a representative, they said they identified with the loan servicing company but were an outside resource to help protect the home for repairs. A confirmation email was sent after payment by check that included the routing number and the account number of the victim. The email also contained a link to the policy but it reroutes to a car insurance log in.
