When applying for a Taco Bell job on the website, my grandchild was prompted to enter Name, Email, Phone Number, and Address. Then prompted to select a time and date for interview. The interview was confirmed about 4 hours later with texted message details of the Taco Bell's location and phone number and a free taco. Upon arriving for the 3:40 pm interview on 1/21/25 at 425 S Merchant Ave., Clayton, NC 27527, my grandchild was told by both Jose' the hiring manager and a very rude elderly female team member that they were at 110% staff, not hiring, not conducting interviews, and that my grandchild was the 4th person to come in on this day for an interview scheduled by a 3rd party that they knew nothing about. Although Taco Bell has a We're Hiring marquee displayed on the storefront and a job opening posted on https://jobs.tacobell.com/job/?Team+Member-Clayton-NC-j-8a7887a884f5016c0184f85d...⇄ my grandchild was turned away, confused and saddened. This experience is very unprofessional, misleading and a waste of time.
