I was looking up information on my Schwinn bike and always try to find retailers where I can still buy the same model in case anything ever happens to mine. I came across schwinnbike.cc which was selling my same bike, and many others, at enormous discounts. That's the first red flag; if something is too good to be true, it is. The website is poorly made and along the top it says "Default Welcome msg!" where actual text is supposed to go. There are zero reviews on the site and under the Customer Care section it's blank. When you go to the Contact Us page it lists the Taft, TX address. Google it. It's a rundown house in the middle of nowhere with a guy smoking a cigarette on the porch. I'm sure Taft is a decent place but I can promise you the only thing being sold out of that house is fentanyl, not bikes.

My son found a website with great prices on bikes by Schwinn and other manufacturers. We decided to try and put a bike in the cart and then it said we had free shipping. I thought that we needed to put in an address to find out what the shipping was. It required account set up at some point, so I made an account and it still said free shipping. Then I thought something must be wrong and looked more into the website. I noticed it was https://schwinnbike.cc/ instead of the real www.schwinnbikes.com. Thankfully I did not put any credit information in, but I feel bad that I gave them my email, billing, and shipping addresses. Is there anything I can do about that?
