I was contacting by the hiring manager (Donald Travon) I was told to do a mobile deposit of a check in the amount of 4300.00 for equipment to work with. I was being hired as a payroll administrator remote. I was told I would be sent funds to cover expenses for software and office equipment. Nothing was ever completed. I done a deposit of the check at my local bank on May 8, the bank placed a 7 day hold on the check, and on May 12, 2025 the check was charged back. The check did not clear my bank.
