Obnoxious Scammers target school districts

Hi all, these are notorious scammers who are incredibly frustrating because the SAM process can be such a pain and they target non-experts with deliberately misleading emails. Their emails also violate the CAN SPAM act by impersonating government offices, not including that they are a 3rd party service, and not including unsubscribe links.

Want to help make it cost them?
1. Send an email to their human support line [email protected] requesting opt out, along with some legal scary language of your own
2. Call their support line and take up some of the time of their support techs with a nice juicy complaint
3. Report them as scammers on the FTC fraud website https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/assistant
4. Forward details to your state attorney general (or federal attorney general if they pick up your calls).
5. Forward their details to the FCC https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us/articles/115002206106-Internet-Compl...⇄ /> 6. Report them as scammers to barracuda email filtering https://www.barracudacentral.org/report
7. Call the go-daddy abuse contact phone number (480)624-2505
8. Call your ISP (Comcast, Cox, etc,) and report them as scammers
9. Contact the Federal Services Support Desk and report them https://sam.gov/content/about/contact

And do this with any other SAM Scammer you come across. The only way I can see that it's possible to get them to stop is to make it cost them too much to scam

Pretend to be from Government

Their email and their website are all presented as if they are part of the official government agency when in fact they are not.
Their email language tries to scare you into believing that you might lose opportunity with the government if you don't use their service.
They use words such as Powered by FedBiz to appear as if they are related to Federal Government when they are not.
They put up tons of 5 star Google Reviews to appear legitimate. Google reviews are notoriously easy to create fake reviews. Only needs a free Fake Gmail account.

Hopefully someone from the government will notice them and start an investigation.

and asks me to call a number to fill my sam.gov profile details on the phone.

Type of a scam: Counterfeit Product

I've seen a few of these kinds of emails come through. They all imply that our SAM registration has some kind of problem with it and provide steps to resolve the issue. However, the issue is never real. Additionally, these companies are entirely unnecessary to maintain a SAM account, you just have to go to SAM.gov and sign up. It's totally free. These companies often use tactics to imply they are associated with the government (without outright stating that they are, because THAT would be blatantly illegal) and they always try to scare you into thinking you're going to miss out on funding or be ineligible for a program if you don't "act now." While I'm guessing they don't blatantly break any laws, they are certainly trying to mislead people into signing up for unnecessary services and fees.
