Fraud employment
Ssn on 08/11/23. When I emailed them on Monday 8/14/23 for an update I didn’t receive any response. I advise them that the account I was using to track the orders was down. Since the employment I was giving variety of packages to repacked and reshape to the correct customer. They told me it will take 7-10 days. When I tried to emailed them I found out on 8/19/23 that the email was undeliverable and I have spoken to them before through email about several times and for Carrie that is the HR manager when I sent him out a few emails as of today August 21 of 2023 I received an email stating that it was undeliverable as well.

This company does not exist. It is a scam
Take the initial step. Call the three credit reporting bureau and freeze your account! Report to law enforcement so if they try to do anything criminal under your name, you can protect yourself.
In essence, Rollitek hired people as their mule to mail out items they bought through stolen identities by opening a credit in their names or using their credit cards.
This is an elaborate scam! Please don’t fall for it. If you already have protect your identity immediately by calling the credit bureaus to report the fraud and freeze your acct and report to law enforcement.

I provided them with my social security number, my bank account and my address. I was to serve a 30 day probationary period after which I will be paid $3,300 plus $100 for supplies. However, towards the end of my probationary period, I received a statement from Samsung financial indicating that I opened an account and charged $1100 for two robot vacuum. Incidentally, Rollitek sent two Samsung robot vacuum to me which I then sent to two individuals based on the shipping labels they sent to me. They purchased the vacuums with the credit financing they opened in my name with Samsung Financial!!
I have not received compensation for this supposedly job and instead my identity was stolen to open an account in my name.
The woman who emailed me about the job is named Kerry Winkler. Her email address is [email protected].
Please make sure that no one else falls for this scam job!

Tactics scammer used - Received an e-mail job offer (fake) for a reshipping scam from Kerry Winkler, this is the website that I would go to - steps-crm.com (currently down until August 17, 2023) supposedly. Received actual items amazingly that supposedly went to other people who ordered from legit websites such as shopify, Granger, etc. Items were dropped off at my home, but packages came from who knows where and whom, as the packages came to my home, not with my name but rather someone else. However, no payment has been made, this is the conditional job offer from Kerry Winkler sent to me on Monday, June 12, 2023:

Conditional Job Offer
We are pleased to extend you a conditional offer for the position of Local Hub Assistant at Rollitek. All the conditions of this offer will be removed once you sign and submit the Employment Agreement/Independent Contractor Agreement with all the required documentation.

Seems legit multiple people and they provide phone numbers, emails, and they have a website. They say their pay such as: "your starting salary will be $3300 (5000 CAD for Canadian contractors) for the probationary period and will be paid out at the end of your probationary period via paper check. There's an additional allocated amount of $100 (150 CAD) for qualified reimbursable expenses." They interviewed me through e-mail and then sent me the link for the W-9 Form. They talk about government documents like W-9 , W-4 and I-9 documents once you are "hired" they even have a probation period. What the work is they they send you packages you inspect them log then in and then send them out. I received various stuff such as IPhones, and twice, I received a Mac computer, both of various memory storage, some fishing gear, etc.

Your office is your home! That’s right! This is a remote position, and you’ll be working from the comfort of your home. A typical day starts early, around 9 a.m. and most people kick their day off by checking their assignments and expected deliveries. You’ll have tracking numbers and powerful CRM software at your disposal to help you plan your day.
As long as you periodically check your assignments and are physically present to receive all incoming deliveries, you do not have to be tethered to a computer all day long. While packages will be of varying sizes, no package should weigh more than 50 lbs. We have an agreement in place with our clients that all packages will be processed within 48 hours after the receipt of the shipping documents. However, the sooner you process, the better your report card will look.
It is imperative that you are available and present in person to receive all attempted deliveries. It can be very helpful to learn the carriers’ routes and delivery schedules in your area to better plan your day. Missing deliveries can often lead to delays and negatively impact customer experience.
Once it’s received, you’ll carefully inspect the contents of the package. Take photographs and upload them to the customer portal. Anything noteworthy must be communicated to your curator promptly. Finally, you’ll process outgoing packages by following the exact instructions provided by the client. You’ll be provided with prepaid labels and are expected to drop off packages at your nearest carriers’ locations. You may occasionally be asked to pick up packages from nearby stores within town or city limits (no more than 15 miles).
COMPENSATION
Everyone starts as a probationary employee at Rollitek for their first 30 days. No exceptions. This probationary period helps us gauge suitability and ensure we have the right person for the right job. This helps both the employee and the employer understand whether they are a good fit for each other. Most probationary employees go on to land permanent position with Rollitek and tend to stay for good. We have a very low turnover rate because we take the time to ensure our employees are a good fit for their role.
Probationary employees are paid at the end of their 30-day probationary period. The monthly wage during the probationary period is $3300 (5000 CAD) with an additional $100 (150 CAD) allocated for qualified reimbursable expenses. We offer paid, on-the-job training and all the tools and training you need to succeed in your new role.
The monthly salary for permanent employees is $3700 (5600 CAD) with an additional $150 (210 CAD) allocated for qualified expenses. Paychecks are issued on the 27th of every month. Permanent employees can also elect a bi-weekly or monthly pay schedule. Permanent employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and more.
