Posing as a handyman came in charming, soft spoken and kind offering to do odd jobs as he put it, "Jack of all trades master at none" my children's father past is away and we were preparing for the funeral, he offered a gift I wouldn't accept, but would do to work is pay later in cash. Everything's fine, then he offers to repair the boat inherited from my father last last fall with intent to with in it in spare time which he's be paid for. Meanwhile he's working on a closet he began in September, I asked how much he needed to be paid to finish the closet project he says 90.00 I send him the funds electronically, but he putzes with the closet attending 8 hrs one day while I'm out to the movies with my daughter and dinner, my camera shows he left just before I returned home and the closet is still not finished another camera shows him moving through an adjacent room he has no business being in....why? He was always asking for other work and I was hoping to rent my master room, a wall has been installed to partition off part of the room who l which only took 3 hrs, but wasn't the way I wanted it. Roger agreed to make it right, but completely true out the framing and started over, I didn't believe was necessary. He put up a frame with a doorway. I had asked him to have the project completed by Christmas. He says he could otherwise I'd have left the wall as it was. I had possible tenants lined up for a walk through but Roger fell through telling me, I didn't run his business. Clearly sending the message his business isn't dependant on mine. He never finished the wall and had to hire someone else to complete the closet and wall losing a tenant want cool. When adding Roger what I owed him he sent snap shot of receipt for materials, since I didn't need or ask for and can't return without the receipt. Now times passed to January I'm in England and he's messaging about snow removal and if, I need any help with sanding. I let him know if prefer he concentrate on the boat to have it ready for Spring, but no response other then I need to pay for two tires, I ask for receipts and none are provided. Time passes and my son inquired about boat and put him in touch with Roger, again he brings up tires, but provides no receipt and dates hey get back to him in a week. Constantly having to reach out to Roger it's now February and he gives a figure under 900.00 to restore boat again is asked about receipt for tires so we can pay him, but crickets after a couple weeks, I reach out to Roger about having the boss ready by end of May and he responds

"Possession is 9/10ths the law, will file a lien against me asking me v to pay him 20 hrs @ 30.00 an hour for a wall 8ft h 6.5 wide that anyone would have had framed in an hour at most 2 hrs the hanging sheet rock, taping, mudding, sanding i and painting is the longer part of which he didn't do and for 20 hrs could have but several completed walls. This is called swindling and court documents have been filed. He threw away a brand new slip and slide into the trash on top of a wood riddled with nails destroying the extra long and wide adult size slip and slide 75.00 he mishandled the tear down of the above ground pool 499.00 plus shipping 129.00 didn't label parts or properly store the pool, pkg or instructions making it useless, cost me a tenant 900.00 and only now months later dates anything about being paid for labor attempting to extort. Beware his kind, soft demure impression is a Trojan Horse waiting for the opportunity to extort and swindle you
