After patiently waiting for a year and a half, and multiple excuses as to why it’s taking so long to ship, I still have not seen the speaker nor any sign of my $4,125.00 deposit. I would like Rock-Ola to refund my initial deposit of $4,125.00, plus an additional $1,325.00 in interest I would have received on these funds dur this year and a half period for not sending the speaker as restitution and trouble I’ve experienced and constant excuses. Additionally, I feel this has been a baiting scam, and possibly common place with Rock-Ola, and its parent company.
Attached is a copy of my bank statement with dates, costs, and other information associated with the transaction as proof to my deposit:

Hope you are doing well. I wanted to inquire about the Speaker I ordered in August last year (2021). The last update I received was it was to be delivered around the holidays this year (2022).
Is the speaker on the way to the US from the UK?
I can appreciate that you are restoring the speaker, which may be taking some time, and displaying it during your sales events. However, I’ve been extremely patient waiting for this to arrive after paying a deposit of $4000.00.
If this does not arrive soon, I will likely ask for my deposit back in full as waiting over a year for this to arrive is more than being an outstanding customer.
I will stop with this request, for now, however, if you can not guarantee a delivery date this year, I will need to engage additional resources to secure my down payment refunded in full.
I’ve been more than accommodating with all, but I am running out of patience, not receiving any additional updates, and having to call Cheron for those updates over the last year and 3 months.
Please work with me to deliver this item before the end of the year.

With regard to price, I understand that this speaker is currently offered on the Rock-Ola website for $4,500. However, this piece is becoming increasingly rare which has resulted in the purchase price being higher than usual. We therefore need to reflect this increase in the retail price so we can offer this speaker to you at $5,500USD . We would also need a 75% deposit upfront with the balance payable prior to shipping.
Alternatively, you could wait for one of these speakers to be sourced in the US but as I mentioned these pieces are increasingly harder to find at a sensible price.

This speaker is offered on an order to restore basis so we would require a 75% deposit upfront to secure the item for you. The deposit reflects the purchase cost of the machine, shipping and parts which is a significant cost before the restoration process even begins. The balance is payable on completion of restoration and prior to delivery.
