was trying to find a home to relocate to and was trying to find a ren to own situation, initially the website said it had properties in the area I was looking but had to join the site to actually look at the properties and apply to get them. They offered a 1 dollar trial for 7 days,, but it only took me less than 5 minutes to see they had absolutely nothing in that area or any area for that matter. I immediately contacted their support number and asked them to cancel after several attempt to try to keep the membership they then started to reel off several thing about a gift and discounts and I still stated I wanted to cancel. but a week later they still charged me the full price of membership and had also charged me twice for the 1 dollar trial. When I called them again they said that they had a no refund policy and the membership I was charged was at a 60 percent discount. They refused to refund so I disconnected and call my back to reverse the charge.

Rent before owning has listed a house on their website. The company states that the home owners missed payment and are in pre-foreclosure. My family members live in the house the company has listed on their website. My family member's house is not for rent or for sale and I know for a fact the house is paid off and they have no plans to ever move. I have contacted the company to remove the listing and have not received a reply.

I visited the website and to get more information it asked for my name email and phone number. When I gsve that information and clicked through, it asked for a $1 to get listing. I closed it and left the site. I am getting several calls a day from them from different numbers. I am getting emails. I'm being harrased.

Honestly, I've never seen or had this happen before.

I added number to the FcC do not call list but it's continued.

I'm reporting here.

I was notified my house is listed on rentbeforeowning.com as rent to own. I have contacted the company stating I did not have my home listed for sale or for rent to own and that I live in my home. The man denied having my home listed, the man also would not tell me how my personal information was obtained. After telling the man I had the web site pulled up and is looking at the listing. He admitted having it listed and stated it would be removed. I have also emailed the web site about removing my home from their site.However, my house is still listed for rent to own on their web site. I have not contacted or given my permission to list my home, nor have I contacted any realtor to hire to sell my house as I am in the middle of refinancing and live in my home.
