It's a scam! Received the exact same correspondence!

I've received the exact same correspondence everything word for word using same address , same return phone number and the name of the person to contact Allen Johnson @ 1-236-788-7960 Return address Regions Capital Financial Services located @ 532 J.P. Hennessey Drive Chicago IL, 60634. Letter informing me I've just won $1,500,000.00 with a check enclosed for $3,700.00 to use for the processing fee of $2,250 but first I'm advised to call the provided number Monday - Friday: 10am-4pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm When my check is activated, I can then proceed to deposit my Check into my checking or savings account and then inform my claim agent that I have done so.
(NOTICE) In big red letters, NOTE: Please do not act on this notice until you have contacted your claim agent to avoid cases of misappropriation and mishandling of winning. I can proceed to deposit my check into my checking or savings account and then inform my claim agent that I've done so. Letter goes on to read please sign and detach this part to give to our representative after you receive the rest of my check
of $1,500,000.00. There are WAY too many red flags here! First, instructing me that I must call first to speak to my claim agent to activate my check! Secondly, once the check has been activated, I can proceed to deposit the said check. Thirdly, I must then contact my claim agent that I've done so! Then I'm to sign and detach the bottom portion to give to my representative after I've received the rest of my check of $1,500.000.00 YEA RIGHT I did not fall off of the turnip truck yesterday, this is a scam! If you've won, they don't ask for money first off! I've reported this to the better business bureau! I suggest if anyone else receive a similar letter do the same and don't sign your name or give out any of your information, especially your banking financial information! It's a scam! Stay safe folks!

Letter sent to my Mom saying she won 2nd prize in a USA Mega lottery held Jan 5th, 2023. He, Allen Johnson, phone #1-236-788-7960 is the contact claim manager, for Regions Capital Financial Services (could not locate the address given when I vetted). He sent a check that looked real, for $3,700.00., to be deposited in my Mom's checking account to pay processing fee of $2,250.00. Letter reads that a certified check will follow for $1,500,000.00. , which would be delivered by a special courier company. I called this person to verify, seemed like I woke him up. He did not identify himself as a business entity and would not explain much about this check. When I asked some questions he seemed angry and stopped talking. I asked him if he was angry, and he hung up. I called back, but no answer to his number. SCAM IN PROGRESS-- stopped by me!
