When I first met him I got into a car accident so I brought my car to his shop. One thing I did share with him was that I was a single mother, who did not have a lot of money due to my job being lost earlier this year, and also almost losing my apartment within the same month of my car accident. So I believe that he targeted me as a single mother Struggling .

He told me that he would be able to fix my car and I got an offer from him which was 1500 in the beginning 1500 went up to 1700 which went all the way up to 2800 and then that day I was supposed to come and pick up my car. He tried to hold my car for another $250 even though I paid him to make my car start running, and when I got to the shop, my car was not running. When I looked at my car, my car looked worse than when I got into the car accident. When they replaced my radiator, there were no screws and bolts. They put all of those in my glove compartment. They tied everything up with zip ties. They put absolutely no fluids in my car, they did not test drive my car. He told me that my car was running, and my battery was dead when I got there as well, even though he told me that he was charging my battery, I waited at his shop for six hours plus for somebody to come and open the gate so that the mechanic could start working on my car to finish the last part which was the belt of the car. The guy took my car to try to make me pay him $250 for the finishing of the car but the car was not running and I paid him $2700 to make the car run and the mechanic started looking at my car. He told me that there were no fluids in my car that my engine would have blew if I would’ve started driving the car. The mechanic ended up having to take off the whole left side of the stuff in my car and redo what the shop was supposed to do and I also had to pay him $210 to finish up on my car to at least make the car run. But the mechanic did not work at the shop. He was called as a favor. Also, while I was waiting for my car, he would not respond to me weeks at a time. And the times he would respond back to me he would tell me there was always something else new wrong with my car and asked for more money . And then once I sent the money, he would stop communicating with me again .My car was with him for three months and for it to look like this, and not to have been finished when he told me it was ready to go is a waste of my money my time, and I just can’t believe he did this to me . He affected more than just myself. He affected my child as well.

.it took 3 months for him to give me back my car in my car was not even able to turn on.

A person sent me messages from a fake QuickBooks account claiming they had installed malware on my computer, had full access to it, and had compromising photos and videos of me. They claimed to have access to my contacts and would share the compromising photos and videos if I didn’t purchase bitcoin and transfer it to them. They said they were only giving me three days and I wasn’t to share the email with anyone. This is their bitcoin address bc1qn8lf2w0v24uvk7x7epmmftuqyhtlkvf44ng6td. They tried to scam me out of money and I’m sure they will try it with others.

Hello

I know your password!

I infected you with a malware (RAT)/(Remote Administration Tool), some time ago and since then, I have been observing your actions. The malware gave me full access and control over your system, meaning, I can see everything on your screen, turn on your camera or microphone and you won't even notice about it, yes such things exist, you can Google it!

I have also access to all your contacts, I collected everything private from you, pictures, videos, everything!

And I MADE A VIDEO SHOWING BOTH YOU (through your webcam) AND THE VIDEO YOU WERE WATCHING (on the screen) WHILE SATISFYING YOURSELF!

I can send this video to all your contacts (email, social network) and publish all your private stuff everywhere!

You can prevent me from doing this!

To stop me, transfer exactly: 400$ with the current bitcoin (BTC) price to my bitcoin address.

If you don't know how to get bitcoin, Google - "How to buy Bitcoin", it's very simple for example with credit card. The wallet you can create here: https://www.blockchain.com

My bitcoin address is: 13d7dbBJdNCCBxYuodWmYgS2rAN45ToAdB

Copy and paste my address - it's (CASE-sensitive).

You know this all isn't a joke, you got the proof above!

I think it's a very good price compared to the damage and hell it can bring into your life!

After receiving the payment, I will delete everything from you and you can life your live in peace like before. I give you 3 days to get the bitcoins!

Don't share this email with anyone, this should stay our little secret!

I think it is fraud....they try to scam me, but I never use that one for many years. Please browse it and report to police. Thanks!</[email protected]>

E-mail received with attached of invoice supposedly from Best Buy for a 3 yr subscription to the Geek Squad (Best Buy) for $199.99 with a phone number to call. Did a reverse directory service of phone number and no number could be located. Also did a google search of phone number, again nothing found. No credit card alerts received that a charge for $199.99 was posted. Also check credit card history online, again no charge in this amount was found. Did not call the phone number in e-mail, assumed it was a scam.

They sent me an email from the Geek Squad Best Buy for an invoice of $199.00. I called and inquired and they told me to go to my computer and go to a website address and join a live chat in order to get my refund. I hung up before I did that. They told me the ScamPulse.com was monitoring the call so they couldn’t give me any financial information and which card was used. I’ve been calling them constantly ever since to gum up their operation so no one else gets scammed. They are trying to install malware on your computer to access all of your accounts.

Tried to call the number to “cancel my 3 year subscription” of service that I had never had. The person (Male, Indian?) said that I had to log onto a computer to cancel my subscription. No; I’m not going to do that.

I received an email saying that my payment has been processed. It has no name, just Dear Customer. It's regarding a Norton Life Lock subscription renewal for 3 years. It has an invoice attachment with no credit card details but has a phone number to call if you want to discontinue. I called the number and just asks for the invoice number I got - i provided a jumbled number (not the invoice number on the attachment) but still they said it's good and payment is being processed. When I said I wanted to cancel, they want me to be in front of a computer to dictate to me the process - it's like their way to be able to access my computer. So, I told them I just want the website and cancel from there but then they hang up.

I received an email from GEÉK SQÜAD informing me that I renewed my membership for an Anti-virus Security Plan at the discount price of $282. I have not placed such order. When I called, I asked Jessica to identify the company. She paused and then began telling me about the promotions that were available today. I hung up and decided to report them.
