the commercial door on my building was kicked in, so I needed a locksmith to come replace it. I called quality locksmith 24/7 because they were sponsored by google, had a 4.5 star rating, and looked legitimate (had a website, 400+ google reviews, etc). I called their dispatcher and almost immediately got a call from the tech in my area that he would be there in two minutes. the tech arrived and was wearing flip flops and a cutoff tshirt that was inside out and backwards, but since it was the weekend, I didn't think much of it. He verbally quoted me $300 and took out our commercial door handle. He went back to his truck and told me they only had residential handles on him and that he would be back in the morning to put in the commercial handle. He then charged me an extra $150 ($450 total, plus $26 in taxes and fees) and, when I asked why it was more than what he quoted, he got a bit hostile with me, so I paid him the money on my company credit card. The next morning, he did not arrive and, when I called him, he told me that there would be an additional fee for putting in the correct handle, but would not give me an estimate, tell me when to expect him, or give me an itemized receipt for his services the night before. I called the number on the company site requesting to speak to a manager, but was told that they would take my information and he would call me back. I demanded that I be sent to his voicemail, be given a phone number to call, or an email, but they hung up on me. I then called them back and told them not to send out the tech and that I no longer needed their services. Later that afternoon, the tech arrived at our house and told me that he was here to put in the handle. When I told him to leave and that we no longer needed his services, He asked "are you mad at me?". I told him that we just no longer needed his services and that he needed to leave our property. 24 hours after i requested the itemized receipt, I received a photo of a written receipt from the tech from a different number than was listed on the website (the number he used was 805-803-2304). The itemized receipt had a different name on it (proquick locksmith, phone number 714-883-0259) and included a spot for "license number", however, the part of the page with the number on it was ripped out.

This is 100% a scam!
I called the same number and the guy insisted i give my address. I refused.
He then called back the next day asking for my address so as to know which appt. to cancel. I told him I never gave it to him. He then started yelling and I chuckled and hung up. Avoid calling unless you're looking to get ripped off somehow.
