Money Scam

I contacted this "breeder" to purchase a puppy they had listed on their site. They were incredibly quick to respond to every email I sent, I'm talking within minutes. I did some research and discovered that the phone number of the domain owner is actually in Iceland (tel:+354.4212434) and the address is also listed as Iceland (Kalkofnsvegur 2, Reykjavik, Capital Region, 101, IS). When I asked for an explanation as well as a physical address for puppy pickup and to set up a phone interview, the responder was evasive and failed to provide any information that could verify their breeder info. They wanted half up front and half upon arrival of the puppy or pickup. I do not believe this to be a real breeder.

The website shows mini dachshunds for sale. The man emails you after submitting a quote and ask a lot of questions as if they are a concerned breeder but one thing they push the deductible. They are not akc registered as stated on website and after checking AKC website. They ignore you when ever you do ask for any kind of proof that the animal is real. Also was provided that they were a home breeder but each time i was given a different city that they were supposedly located in. And if you pay close attention the locations on website doesn’t match either. The links to social media pages don’t exist. The # on the website is a fake text now #

And when confronting the scammer of my finding and advising that i was reporting them he said he was gonna find me and to see how my home was gonna end up that night. So please don’t fall for it or waste your time. If you are searching for a puppy the breeder should always be willing to give paperwork and any information to you to prove that pup is real!

Email response from the website was too good to be true. Searching online found previous puppy deposit scams associated with the address & owner's name at similar named websites in 2018 & 2019.
