Purity Medical Products Reports & Reviews (5)

Just received invoice from them. Was told supply low, will be out soon and price will be going up. If product comes in it will be refused. They pulled the same thing years ago. Didn't pay invoice then and won't now.

Called informing me there was a shortage in nitrile exam gloves and would not be shipped till June. Asked if we would take a case of gloves to hold us off until they came back in stock. The man claimed he would put in the order today and have someone call the following day to confirm the order. I emailed our true supply account manager and was informed that it was a scam. I called back to cancel any type of order that had been placed while they did not ask for any payment information or addresses. Man #2 on the phone was confused and startled and would not give information about the company or any type of identification. Told not to contact our office again.

This company calls our medical office all the time. The man who calls us says his name is Keith. They ask to speak with the person in charge of ordering. Once they find a person's name, they start asking for that person like they know them. They will claim they "just spoke with so-and-so" to try and get a certain person on the phone. The usual tactic is to say that they need to update us on a shipping change with our current order. If they get a verbal "ok to ship" they will send you a bill for something you didn't even order.

Our office was contacted multiple times by Purity Medical Products. We told them we did not want to place an order and were continuously harassed. I received an invoice for gloves we did not place demanding we pay it or we would be turned over to collections. I asked repeatedly for the initial order and they could not provide it. I asked to speak to a manager and supervisor and "Chris" said he was handling the matter. Absolutely a SCAM! DO NOT TAKE ANY CALLS FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

- Apex, NC, USA

Got a call from Purity Medical Products about an order of gloves we supposedly placed. The man on the phone explained that they would not be restocking on gloves until June or July and that we should order several cases of gloves now to get us through, totaling $420. When I called them back to call them on their bluff, they would not let me speak to anyone else and would not give me any answers about their scam. I told them to take our number off their calling list and even still they would not give me any definitive answers. If I could report these people to my local police I would.
