I responded to an ad in The Augusta Chronicle (Augusta, GA) for free English Bulldog puppies. Eleven days later I received a response form Crystal Dodson asking me to tell a little about myself so that she could know who is wanting her babies. I responded not giving her too much personal information but told her how many pets we had and why we wanted the English Bulldog puppies. I received another e-mail from Crystal saying that I could have the puppies but needed my address so that she could check how much shipping would be and stated that we were responsible for paying the shipping. I e-mailed again with some questions about the puppies and asked if we could pick the puppies up. She replied answering a couple of my questions and said that she preferred to ship them by private courier. I googled her e-mail address and saw where she was giving away free dogs and cats in GA, FL, VA, Penn, Michigan and other states. I did not contact her again.
