I was looking for a pupppy online. I found https://puppiesakchome.com. I contacted Frank P. AduBrenya. His email is [email protected]. He said the puppy would be $700, and $185 for airfare, and $90 delivery fee from the airport to my house. He said they would play with the puppy before they put it on the airplane, so it wouldn't be stressed. I paid $975 through Zelle to a Huntington Bank account. The evening of 1.15.20, I got a text saying I would need to buy an air conditioned crate for $1797, and all but $10 would be refunded when the dog arrived. Later that evening I got another text that said "hello". He hadn't answered any of my questions as to why I needed an air conditioned crate in January. He said he lived in Charlotte NC and I said I would drive there to get the puppy, and he replied "you would?" and never responded again. That's when I knew I'd been scammed. We did everything but one email through texts. Huntington originally said because I am a Huntington customer, they should be able to get my money back. But later they said they had to close my dispute because it was my transaction. The only way to contact Zelle is through your bank, and that wasn't any help to me.
