A man identifying himself as Sgt. Duncan Davis with Pulaski County called from phone number (501) 380-0697 asking for the owner of our business. I told him that I was one of the owners. He then asked for my name which I told him. He proceeded to tell me that he had a warrant for my arrest for failure to appear for a federal jury summons & contempt of court. I told him that I did not receive a summons and he said he had a copy of my signature dated 11/10/16 on a certified mail receipt. I told him that I did not sign it. He then told me that apparently someone signed my name and I needed to come to 500 W. Capital with 2 forms of photo id and bond money of $2,990.00 which I would pay through a kiosk. They would run a signature analysis to verify that it wasn't my signature and I would get my money back in form of a cashiers check. I then hung up on him. He called back and my husband answered. My husband hung up on him and he called back. My husband then told him to send a officer down to pick me up because it was a scam and hung up on him again. I called the U.S Court Judicial Division at (501)604-5107 and checked with them. They had no record of any of it and said it was a scam. I also called the Pulaski County Court to verify. They checked my name and had no record. She also said it was a scam.
