I WON A PRIZE FROM PCH AND HAD TO PURCHASE DEBIT CARD TO RECEIVE GIFT, I WAS STUPID AND DID SO AND GAVE THEM THE INFORMATION FROM CARD THEN THEY WANTED MORE , THATS WHEN I SAID NO THIS IS A SCAM.

- Mililani, HI, USA

There was a voicemail message stating I had won the grand prize in publishers Clearinghouse sweepstakes. On the voicemail they mentioned money and a car as the prizes, including $7000.00/week for life. And they let me know there would be a payout that would have to occur before being allowed to receive the prize package. They said it was an old prize. And they told me to call, (870) 806-7172, with a confirmation number to get more information. I called. They said I was the winner and had to purchase a package at either CVS, Walmart, or another store for $350. That would fulfill my obligation of proof to the lottery commission. Then they would be notified, them head out on the road to where I am. They called me on a different number than I registered with on PCH and when I asked him if he wanted my updated address he told me to text him my name, address, and email address. And then he would call me back. Which I did. He never called back. When I called again, there was no answer and went to voicemail.

+1

Was contacted twice by phone and message was left both times that I had won the Publishers Clearinghouse prize. I did not speak to the person. They wanted a return call from me which I am quite sure would include obtaining my bank account number. I did not return their calls.

1st contact was given as: 702-551-1218 Andrew Gopher 12.5 million, $10,000/week for life, 2022 Mercedes Benz

2nd contact was given as: 877-799-2147 Richard Peterson 6.5 million, $7,000/week for life, 2022 Mercedes SUV Both of these contact people were supposedly from Publishers Clearinghouse
