I was called by someone claiming to be with Publishers Clearing House.  They said I won $8.5 million dollars but I had to pay them $5,000 before I could get my prize.

My elderly father keeps getting calls from Jamaica claiming to be the Publisher's Clearinghouse. The already fooled him out of $500 on a Green Dot card once and they think they can do it again, but now that I know about it, I will put a stop to it. Scammers!

I recieved two phone calls from Debra Holland with Publisher's Clearinghouse.  She asked me to call her back with my claim number 95051 so I can get my prize.  I won a million dollars and would be getting $7,000 a week for life.

I recieved a letter from Publisher's Clearinghouse stating I won $750,000 dollars.  It came with a check for $9,000 that I was supposed to deposit and then send them back $7,000 for taxes and handling fees.  The letter told me to call 814-844-5318 before I deposited the check and to only speak with Jerry Price.  He would tell me what to do next.

Someone claiming to be with Publishers Clearing House called me and said I won $2.5 million and a new truck.  He told me his name was John Mickles.  I had to send them $500 on a GreenDot card for IRS taxes.  They stayed on the phone with me while I purchased the card.  I had to send him the money through GreenDot - his name on the app was Grim Reape.  After I sent him the money they called me and said I had to send them more.

Caller said his name was John and the other guy was George.  Said I won $2.8 million and wanted me to go to Walmart and get a card and call him back with the numbers on the card.

I reccieved a letter from someone claiming to be with  Publisher's Clearinghouse.  It stated that I had won $750,000.000 and that I was entered into their contest through cross promotions with credit card companies.  They included a check for $8,890.91 with the letter.  They told me I had to deposit this check and use the funds towards paying taxes and processing fees.  I was assigned a claims agent named James Goodman.  He would help me set up monthly installments.  The letter told me to keep everything confidential and not to tell anyone I won until after I started getting the monthly instalments. The letter was sogned by some claiming to be CEO Mark Lawson.

- Copper Hill, VA, USA

I have been getting multiple calls from someone claiming to work with Publishers Clearing House.  He said I won $18.5 million and that I would get $7,000 a month for the rest of my life.  He said I needed to go out to my local Dollar Store and purchase a prepaid gift card for $299 for taxes.  I told him that I knew that I did not have to pay taxws on a prize like this and he said it was to make sure I wasn't going to spend the money on drugs.  He also said that he would stay on the phone with me the entire time to make sure I has support.  He also asked for my bank acoount numbers so he can deposit the $7,000. The calls are coming from different numbers out of Florida.

I received two calls from people claiming to be from Publisher's Clearing House saying that I won $17.5 million, an extra $500K, and a Mercedes Benz. I knew it was a scam so I did not give them any money or my personal information.

Keep calling on my land line and cell phone.   Want me to get a money card for $197.  Said won $3 million.

I have a voicemail from someone claiming to work with Publishers Clearing House. He said I won $13 million dollars and I needed to call their claims department and give Todd Sloan a claims number.

- Roanoke, VA, USA

I recieved a call from a man claiming to be Dave Sayer with Publishers Clearing House. He said I won $2.7 million and that I had to send a $2,000 check to the IRS for taxes on the prize money. He said he worked in Humble Texas and that he has worked for Publishers Clearing House for 39 years. He said he wasn't going to ask for my banking information now, but he would need it at some point so he can put the money in my account.

Caller said with Publisher's Clearinghouse and won $10.5 million.  Had to send money to open the case to start sending the money.   Then wanted money for the gold seal on the check.

- Boones Mill, VA, USA

Got a call from James Cooper who said he worked with Publishers Clearing House and that I had won $10.5 Million and a 2023 Mercedes. To prove it was legitimate he told me I would be getting an email from Bill Grey with letters from the IRS, Department of the Treasury, and the Better Business Bureau assuring me this was a legitimate prize. One of the letters - from the people claiming to be the IRS - said all of the taxes were handled. The letter from the supposed Better Business Bureau said I had to send a $9,000 certified check to CPA Jacklyn Jenkins with the IRS and she would give me the reciept that I needed to hand over to James Cooper when he delivered the $10.5 million and the car to my home.

Received call from someone claiming to be with Publisher's Clearinghouse back in November and I had won money.   The even sent paperwork.

- Tazewell, VA, USA

I recieved a call from a woman named Susan Green who claimed to work with Publisher's Clearing House. She said I won $5 million but I had to pay taxes on it upfront. She got evry upset with me because I wouldn't give her my bank account information or my social security number. She then connected me to another woman named Linda Joy Olsen and a man named Mark Merchant. Mark said he worked for the Better Business Bureau. He apologized for eevrything Susan said and told me not to worry about her. I sent them $6,000 in the form of a cashiers check to 1342 Princeton Ave Trenton, NJ. 08638. Mark said he would deliver the $5 million check to my house.

I recieved a voicemail from a woman claiming to be with Publisher's Clearing House. She said she was in Jericho NY. She said I won several million Dollars and a new car with in the color of my choice. She claimed this was for seniors only. 

- Lynchburg, VA, USA

This is the 3rd attempt by this man to scam me. He must be crazy. Basically he calls and each time uses a different story about what I won . Used different names. One being last name Anderson, David. This last time I told him "you just don't give up".

Caller said with Publisher's Clearinghouse and I had won $2 million.  Said he was a lawyer out of West VA.  Wanted $300 money order.
