Insistant that I won a sweepstaked prize they wanted to deliver, or have me pick up. 2 days n a row after telling him repeatly to not call me and take me off his list. I blocked the number and then was called by the same person on a "No Caller ID" phone. I was unable to block it.

Called claiming that they had won $85 million on Publisher's Clearinghouse contest. They needed $500 tax fee to process the winnings for him. He is 89 years old, but was wise enough not to share his information (the caller asked for his address and wife's phone number) to 'finalize' the deal so they could deliver the check. The phone number (304-584-9131) was provided as a callback number that he did call, but did not provide any additional information and he then turned over all the information to the local police department.

On the phone, (346) 344-8392, the scammer identified himself as Larry Cooper with a firm who supposedly represented Publisher's Clearing House. Mr. Cooper said that I had won the second place prize for $3 million, a $250,000 bonus, and a Mercedes tried to schedule a time to deliver the Package. Gave me to his supervisor, David Mufassah (sp?). Mr. Mufassah gave me the direct number to the "Better Business Bureau", (346) 344-8392, where I talked to a man named John Dixon who purportedly represented the Better Business Bureau and who could access the accounts of the Publisher's Clearing House if I could provide him with the Package ID Number. He miraculously could verify that I indeed was a winner. I was contacted the next business day by Mr. Henry because I did not want to give them any information that could be used to steal my identity. He now wants me to send a $400 delivery fee to them which is refundable. Needless to say, I've done my due diligence by you in collecting this information.
