Phone call stating I had won first place sweeptakes from Publisher Clearing House. Was told that I needed to put funds in an IRS account before the funds could be released. Was requested to wire funds and they kept asking for more. Explained that funds were not available. I was told they were trying to get assistance for me. Funds were sent by bank wire, Vanilla gift cards, Money Pak and cash. I was even asked to send phones for the delivery people. All items were sent through Federal Express. The names were Mr. Patterson, 518-740-8890 and John Turner and Mr. Jefferies 518-553-9002. They ordered credit cards in my name and even pulled funds from my checking account. They attempted to purchase items on my Discover card. I have not received my credit reports to see what else has been done to my credit. They sent me an email address: [email protected] to read and it was showing the guidelines to get the funds. At first, they stated I would only need to put $2525.00 in the IRS account for taxes. Continued phone calls sometimes three or four times daily and they wanted me to use my cell phone. They did not want me to talk on the house phone. This started around May 15th. The last call received was July 23rd. I did not answer.

I won 1.2 million thru Publishers Clearing House & needed to send $2400 dollar money order to listed address in order to have My winning Gift delivered to my residence. I did not reveal any personal information or account information

Someone claiming to be from PCH called on a Saturday night claiming that I won the top prize of $3.5 M plus $5k/week for life plus a new car I gave them my email address (I know, dumb) to send me a confirmation email. I was told to call on Monday to schedule the delivery day/time of the prize. Then, I was sent a tax document to be paid prior to the prize(s) being delivered (finally, the lightbulb goes on). After careful review, I noticed misspellings in the documentation, and my research proved wrong addresses and lifted persona profiles.

I was transferred to "Craig Andersen," Sr Operations Manager to explain the taxes owed because Deborah couldn't hear me and needed to charge her hearing aids. Not making this up!! "Craig" actually told me to go to the bank and open an account so that we could "test" the transfer of money to help me pay the taxes!!! After all, they felt sorry for me that I am presently unemployed and wanted to help me make things easier. What??

I called Deborah back. She answered. I told her calmly that I know this is a scam. I also said, just tell me he truth. She hung up.

There is a lot of evil in the world.
