Man called with a somewhat thick accent. Said he was from Publisher's Clearing House. I told him that I hadn't entered and he said it was because I had paid my bills on time for a long time in Alaska. He insisted that it wasn't a scam and that it really was PCH. He gave a lot of names of people that were going to come by the house and what my winning ticket # was. It took about 15 minutes for him to get to where he said I needed to take 1 percent of the winning amt ($850) to the local post office; then the official papers would be maintained in Anchorage. Then they would send a check for the remaining winning amount. He sounded more and more fishy as time went on. After about 20 minutes on the phone with him I hung up. he did not call back.

His name David Anderson said I won 2.5 million but needed 200.00 to cover taxes and shipping. Very informative and sent me a e-mail with the pch logo with all the break down of my winnings. Gave me my winner number, serial number and government code word. He was real good but I just knew I did not have to paid to win. Told me to tell no one, make it be a surprise was another thing that did not ring true.

Asked for e-mail , Name , Wifes name , and addresss , I gave him non.... he stated that he was in Denton and was driving to my house to give me my check, I asked how far was he and he said about 400-500 miles but it is more like 101 miles....asked if I knew how to do a wire transfer ...

I won $7, 000,000.00 I got a call from Mr. David Gonzales. He gave me a Prize Notification number EL001146218US. Told me they wanted to come out to my house to give me the money. I knew it was a scam so I didn't provide m address. I called ScamPulse.com.

I got about 5 calls from Publisher's Clearinghouse. The caller identified himself as Billy Adams calling from 876-505-1682 and told me that I won $10 million and a new Mercedes. I was told to send a 2,000 check to *** S County in Kokomo, IN 46903. I told him that this all sounded like a scam but he kept saying it wasn't. I called the ScamPulse.com who told me it was!

Called and said I won 25 million from Publishers Clearing House and a mercedes. They were delivering it from Boise Idaho. All I had to do was pay 1995.00 tax and they would deliver it today. They told me I was ungrateful and needed to be kinder and donate some of this money and insisted it was a donation not paying them. They tried very hard to bully me

Keep caaling wants me to walmart to walmart 350.00 for reg. Fee

I received a phone call from phone number 876-528-1819. They claimed that I had won $2.7 million and a 2019 Range Rover. They claimed the prize was sponsored by Bank of America. In order to redeem my prize, I needed to go to Walmart and send $695.89 via a Walmart-to-Walmart transfer to Shenika Williams. After I sent the money, I would need to call them back and provide my receipt number in order to set up the instructions to obtain my prize. When I asked why I needed to send the money, they stated that the winner was required to pay .1% of the winnings and that this was the only way to receive the prize. They claimed that they were from Publisher's Clearing House and that I was one of 3 winners they had choose that month. If I did not claim my prize, it would go to the Unclaimed Prize Department.

Last week I received a phone call from a different number claiming that I had won $2.5 million and a 2019 Mercedes Benz. When I asked if the two winnings were affiliated, I was told no.

I spoke with Mr. Donald Johnson and he transferred me to his secretary, Eileen Moskavitch. Eileen claimed to be based in Las Vegas, but I could hear a foreign language in the background. When I asked her why I heard a foreign language, she said that our lines must have gotten crossed. When I told Eileen that I needed to go, she insisted that I send the money as quickly as possible so that I could have access to the money.

I called them back to tell them I had confirmed with the ScamPulse.com that it was a scam. They were insistent that they were legitimate and that I should claim my prize as quickly as possible. After speaking with BBB, I know this is not a legitimate opportunity and I am submitting this report hoping that no one falls victim to their persuasive tactics.

After speaking with BBB, I actually received a follow up phone call from Eileen. She wanted to know if I had a chance to go to Walmart to pay the taxes for the prize money. I told her that I did not want to move forward because when you win something, you should not have pay money for it. I told her that I hoped she realized what she was doing was scamming people and that she got into a more legitimate line of business.

Received a voicemail stating that I had won 7 million dollars and that I would be able to receive 5 thousand dollars a week. They then left their number for me to call back and kept repeating that number.

- Yazoo City, MS, USA

I was contacted by a man going by the name of John Kerry and his Supervisor/Delivery Manager called Baskin White claiming to be from Publisher's Clearing House stating that I was a sweepstakes winner of $18,500,000.00 and a Mercedes C class vehicle, I was the winner of a drawing at a Walmart that I didn't even enter into. Now they are asking that I send them $220 to pay for Registration fees with the IRS for an accessors fee and that it should be paid at Walmart. I have contacted Publisher's Clearing House to report this issue with them. They are claiming to be registered with the ScamPulse.com and the U.S. Department of Treasury and that I would receive a Cashier's Check but I have to have an active checking account in order to receive my prize.

- Spokane, WA, USA

I needed to have 1500.00$ for to pay for service fee. Told me I should get the prize in a private method. When I told them I was not home, said my wife could sign for prize. Contacted REAL PCH and they said it was a scam.

Claimed to be Publisher's Clearing House. David Whitmore, Badge number 2525pch. Gave a package claim code 3535ups. Said I'd won 5.5 million dollars and a new Mercedes Benz but would have to pay for 1% of taxes.

You were through facebook messenger. Supposedly from a friend saying they won money from Publisher's Clearing House for $90,000. But that he had to pay a fee first. The fake friend said that he saw her name on the list and that she just needed to pay a fee of $800.00. Customer talked them down to $100.00. But customer has not gone through with it.

- Boise, ID, USA

Unfortunately I did not write down the phone number used by this scammer. He was doing his best to hide his foreign accent but called me Mr. Nancy Williams and couldn't pronounce Lincoln. His voicemail message was telling me that I had won some ridiculous amount of money, $14.5 million I think, and a Lincoln Navigator. I laughed. I was to call a number to claim my prize. I did not write that number down. If he should happen to call again, I will note the numbers.

Heavy accent male called my cell phone and said I won the publishers clearing house prize. I continued the conversation and found I would have to send $4,500.00 in order to claim a prize of more than 2 Million dollars. I agreed.

I said I would have to go to the bank and would take me about 30 minutes to get ready. He wanted to keep me on the line that length of time, but I said I could not stay on that long.

He is going to call me back in 30 mins which would be about 1:53 CT. I have since blocked that no. it is 1-876-849-1417.

On Tuesday someone called me saying they were with Publishers Clearinghouse saying I had won 5 million dollars and a 2019 Mercedes Benz. I asked lots of questions so we talked for a long time. At one point they offered to take me to the bank but then later said I could go to the bank myself and that I would need to draw out some money but they didn't really say what for that they would tell me when I had gone to the bank. The man was very convincing and told me yesterday that that was the last night I could claim my funds. I had a relative with me who encouraged me to contact ScamPulse.com which I did and after hearing what had happened tole me it's a scam.

received a call from riverside california from a mark delphin. he claimed he was with publishers clearing house. he said i had won a lot of money and a car, but they wanted the name of my next of kin in case something should happen to me before i receive the prize. they kept asking for my wife's information, but instead i hung up on them. my wife said she saw something in the news about this type of scam, and that they get your information and send you a box full of bricks instead of the box of information that they promise. i reported them to the BBB.
