Billing Scam

The exact same thing happened to us as has to the other people reporting. Falsely representing themselves, do not provide the service you request, bill you for services you didn't agree too, and then threaten, bully, insult and try and scare you into paying or they will "ruin your credit and company reputation". They do not provide proof of work, proof of approval or consent to recording when requested. All communication they try to do VIA phone, so there isn't a record. Claim they work closely with the BBB, yet remain unaccredited. Their "employee's" are unprofessional, with a severe lack of proper business etiquette. After dealing with them, and researching, there are many businesses dealing with the same things. Highly recommend just hanging up with an "advertising" company wants to confirm details. Only deal with ones that you start the relationship with.

Legal SCAM

All companies I have spoken with have had the same occurrences/issues as myself and the previous persons complaining against this company (above). I received a phone call (horrible reception) from this company that DID NOT notify myself as to who they were when starting the conversation. They continued the phone call asking me what my business does and my company's address etc. to which I answered all of their questions assuming it was the Yellow Pages calling as that has happened in the past. They led off the conversation stating that the white pages were not being printed in a phone book anymore which is exactly why I assumed it was the Yellow Pages calling. At the very end of the phone call the person calling said they were transferring me to their other department to confirm my information and that an invoice would follow. At no point did I ever say I wanted them to advertise my company's information nor did I need/agree to their services since they did not tell me they were an advertising company. It was then, after telling me they were sending an invoice, that they told me it was the Provincial Online Phonebook calling just before they transferred me to the other phone call. I told them to send the invoice so that I could understand who had called and what this invoice was actually for. Of course this phone call had all been recorded and when they played it back to me what I stated above was all correct but will not send me the recording to bring to my lawyer (go figure). But they say that since I said "ok" a few times that I had registered for their service. After a bunch of arguing I got a lovely discounted rate of $429.99 + tax or told that I would be sent to collections. I paid and told them to remove me from any of their advertising listings as well as their call back list even though their service was for 2 years supposedly. But I don't want my company name anywhere near this scam. This is a SCAM. DO NOT answer this company's call.

White Pages Directory

I was told since the white pages were no longer going to be printed that, they were now offering a Digital listing service on multiple social media sites.

The price was $800.00. After further research, I discovered they are not connected with Bell.

Their form of payment is e-transfer, and they are not Accredited by the BBB.

Type of a scam: Yellow Pages/Directories

This company called, introduced themselves as "yellow pages" and wanted to "update" our info online.

They had our buisness info already, and when asking if it was correct, used that as an accepted agreement.

Now we have recieved a rediculous bill of $700, for nothing. We contacted them and told them they falsely represent themselves and we were not interested.

They then said they would "give a bit of a discount" but if we didn't now, it would be full price and sent to collections.

This company is going after small buisnesses, and fesr mongering them into paying them for a service we do not need or want!

Just finished dealing with them and my result was the same. When I questioned their services that we did not want and need(they also had another company that was not mine listed as one of my “listings” and when I questioned the price they wrote me a threatening email saying they would send us to collections and give us bad credit for a minimum of 7 years so I might as well pay the bill.
