Carlotta Duran from Proteam Solutions Inc. offered me a contractor position as a graphic designer- states would send check to set up home office. Stated I would need to purchase items through vendor. Sent me email stating I would receive check today and that it needed to be deposited via ATM and to send copy of receipt in order for funds to become available. Family member works at bank and felt this was odd from the start. We called company who stated this has happened in the last week and is a scam.

I was scammed by a woman who goes by the name of Carlotta Duran. She claim to be a job interviewer for Proteam Solutions Inc. When I applied to a job, I was contacted shortly after. Carlotta set up the interview through google hangout and conducted an interview with real questions. Shortly after the interview, I was supposedly hired as the freelance graphic designer. I was sent paperwork/contract. The agreement was, the company would pay me $50.00 per hour and $40.00 for training. From that point, they said they would send me a check to purchase computer equipment to begin working. They sent me a check for $6,576.23 a few days later. I was told to deposit the check into my account, and get money orders for $6,000.00. I questioned this, so Carlotta said to get a cashiers check for $6,000.00 and deposit it into their account with Chase bank to cover the equipment. I ask them about the other $576.23 and was informed that this would be for training. She also asked me to send pictures when the process was completed. I did as was told and sent picture. During the entire process, she would always check to see if things went through correctly. Once the money was deposited, she said I should have the computer on Monday. (This all happen on a Saturday) Monday comes around and I have no computer and my account was in the negative. The check they sent was a fraud and my account was over drawn $6,576.23 When trying to resolve the matter, the banks couldn't do anything to fix the situation because I had gotten the money in the form of a cashiers check and deposited into their account.
