Received a letter noted; "Recorded Deed Notice" with a proposed fee of $107 to essentially pay them for records I can get from my county for free!

It looked suspicious to me immediately, so I contacted my estate attorney who emphatically said; Do not pay this fee, it is a scam!

It's amazing to me that in the most highly regulated state in America there are companies like this preying on unsuspected individuals.

On 5 Dec 2017 my wife and I purchased a Townhome in Florida. Today, 29 Dec 2017, I received a "RECORDED DEED NOTICE" with a $86 service fee to obtain a copy of our "Current Grant Deed and Property Assessment Profile". This of course is total nonsense as we received the recorded Deed after closing. It looks very official...This company should be prosecuted for fraud.
