I am a senior adult on a limited income. I foolishly ordered 6 bottles of product from ProManXL. I did not realize the cost, the number of bottles, nor that the company would enroll me in a subscription. Six bottles is 6 months of product. Exactly one month after the original order, another order was placed in my name and billed to my credit card. When my credit card company notified me of the charge, I immediately called the company and canceled the order and the subscription I didn’t know I had. After a lengthy conversation (difficult as well), I thought the matter was closed. Nineteen days after that call, another order was sent to my credit card — 3 times in one day. Sadly, my card company did not notify me. On the 3rd attempt to run the charge, the credit card company did post it to my account. The next day I got an email from ProManXL about a new order being shipped. I immediately called them to say I did not want the product and to cancel the order. “Ashley” told me that there was nothing she could do. The order was already out. Then I began conversations with my credit card company to cancel the payment. Hopefully, they can get the money back for me. It is terrible that when you make a mistake and order a bad product that you are unable stop repeated orders and charges to your account. It is suspicious when a company bills with a different name each time a charge is sent through the card. Please do not be taken in by this entity. Hopefully, they will be caught. People like this should be prosecuted.
