Company texted me stating they had received my resume via Indeed (which was possible) and had a data entry position I was qualified for. I was asked to download the Telegram app to communicate with them. We did a "chat interview" which was all scripted and they "hired" me. They stated they would be sending me a check to purchase thousands of dollars in equipment from their specific vendor but refused to answer any of my questions regarding how this would work. They sent me a paper application to complete which was a ridiculous, unprofessional word document that a computer illiterate person created. They kept referring to the "company head department". This is an elaborate scheme trying to get people to believe they have been hired by a company to do data entry from home so that they can obtain your banking details for depositing "your pay", and also to get you to deposit their check to purchase quipment, which is probably a bad check.
