My husband received an email about a package, our son has cancer, we get packages a lot, it said that he needed to pay for a permit to get the package to us. The sender said it was some stuff to help sooth his symptoms, bath bombs, essential oils, tinctures, etc. they said a man named Ruddy Kane initiated the package being sent. My husband being naive sent the money via bitcoin on cash app and after he showed me and they asked for more money I realized all the tell tale signs, like verbiage and grammar that was off, 404 pages on the website, info not matching up and claims of refunding the fees he paid via cash upon package delivery. There was another email they used : [email protected] and this PayPal email [email protected]. My husband was duped and it looks like I’m the first one to look for any information regarding this particular scam. Well it’s definitely a scam.
