Type of a scam: Debt Collections

This company had someone call "officer Anderson" claiming to be an officer of the court from a private number. This "officer" claimed my husband was being threatened to be served and to contact this number 833-216-0933 with a case number to get details. My husband called and this place claimed we owed money to a jewlery company and they were going to take us to court for a civil suite. Ed Trexler was this agent's name a second number claiming to be an attorney who could assist us in settling and we could pay via check by phone, cash app, or cashier's check. Thankfully our payment via cashapp failed to go through and while we were researching this place to find other claims online of this company, Premier Legal, being a scam so I hung up and also cancelled my debit card as well as blocking them on my cashapp.

This company has been calling my cell phone, my husband, his place of employment, his sister, his mother. They are claiming to have legal documents to serve us. They have my husbands social security number.

I received a phone call from the company, Premier Legal @ 916-426-3290, they stated that I owe money to a company. I asked the "clerk" for further information and he stated he is not at liberty to discuss that and would need to transfer me to their Compliance Officer, Mike Rivers. I spoke to Mike and he ran off a list of accusations against me by a company named "ACE Inc." He stated that they are filing charges against me for "bad checks" and misleading. I kept asking Mike for additional information so I can valid his remarks against my records and he was reluctant on telling me anything but that I need to handle the amount of $414 that is now being pursued by the courts. I kept asking about the loan and he stated that the loan is not the issue here it is the $414 that their company is seeking. As I kept probing for more answers, Mike eventually became irate and stated he will not continue arguing "semantics" with me and said "good bye" and hung up.
