Posing as Wolverine Reports & Reviews (1)

- Orange Park, FL, USA

So this is my very first post on here. I never saw myself actually needing to make one of these but here I am. I am a mother of 5 who was laid off from my job last October due to the company outsourcing my team to Mexico because it was cheaper for them. I said that to say I desperately need a job bills are piling up and my husband is struggling to hold that weight. I have been filling out job applications like CRAZY so when I got an email from Sean Rork ([email protected]) about an open IT Support Specialist (remote) position I was excited. The first email asked me if I was "still" interested in the position and I quickly emailed him back yes I am, thinking this was one of the many applications I had filled out. The next email I got had some screening questions attached which I figured would be used to see who they were going to hold official interviews with. The questions started simple and then increased in gauging your technical knowledge and skill set but were still simple if you are a tech by trade. I answered them and emailed him back within in the same day. The next day He emailed me saying he got the questions and would get back to me in 2-4 business days with their decision to move forward. I didn't think this was strange because I was assuming moving forward meant an actual face-to-face interview. 2 days later (today) I got an email saying they were extending me an offer for employment and said they would be paying me 40/hr and I could pick my schedule. I am going to attach a screenshot of the offer email. I was threw the roof with excitment! But I also had a gnawing feeling that this could be too good to be true. I did some research and found the guy on Linkedin but I could not find my application confirmation email which was strange so I started digging deeper and found the real email domain which is just wolvgroup.com. This is an actual company with a website, Facebook, and LinkedIn page so I called the number on their Google site page and sure enough they are being targeted and NOT HIRING for any remote support positions. Ask you can imagine this CRUSHED my spirits but did not shut me up because I am hear now warning you. If it feels too good to be true, IT IS. Trust your gut and do your research before sending any pertinent information. The scammers are out alive and well making a living out of good people's desperation. Stay safe and if you are on the hunt like me, I pray we find something soon
