They called said they was con ed,we needed to pay emergency bill or service was gonna be interrupted..the insisted that we buy a card,send them the money..

Scammer contacted me disguising as Con Edison stating that my service would be shut off within the next 45 minutes If I didn't pay. Scammer was able to share my account information and address during the call. Scammer asked that I Zelle the total amount of $600 to be paid which using 347-259-1970 adding CON Edison to the Zelle account. Scammer than called back and stated that I would need to pay the full amount owed on the account $1,198 in order to stop disconnection of services. I Zelle additional $1,200 and contacted Con Edison 1-800-752-6633 and conference in the supervisor Mark Peterson ID 02007 given, which con Edison representative stated for me to contact my bank and police to stop payment. I called Chase bank, however they said since it was authorize payment I wasn't able to receive my funds back and to contact ScamPulse.com for assistance.
