Initially received a text message stating that a package delivery was attempted but could not reach destination due to an incomplete address. Was directed to follow a link to an imposter UPS site to update contact information, including name, address, e-mail, and phone number. The next page said that shipment attempt would cost $3 and that a credit card should be provided. I decided this was a scam and closed the page. The next day, received an unsolicited phone call. A man with a Russian accent said I had won 2nd place in a prize from the International Gaming Commission and that he had acertified check for 2.5 million and an additional prize waiting pending delivery. I hung up then, suspecting it was a scam.
