Message me that they were interested in an item I had posted on Facebook to sell. Kept asking for my phone number but never called it. Insisted on a confirmation number to verify myself. Finally, after they didn't choose to call my number that it was an actual scam. Reported this to Facebook as well.

I was approached by a girl selling concert tickets to a show I really wanted to go to. She sent me proof of everything and I did my research on her account, everything checked out. I was skeptical to send her money through Zelle because of the risks, but I had tried to send the money through paypal goods and services and it failed to go through. We came to a deal to send the money in smaller portions and after sending $250 she would send 1 ticket. I messaged back and forth with her for four hours trying to help her transfer the tickets to my account but nothing was working and she still had my money.

Got a text saying my package couldn’t be delivered. Looked EXACTLY like usps site. I even checked. Asked for my full name, address, email, phone number. The next page asked me to pay a delivery fee of $3, I did not provide my cc information.

They represented themselves as Verizon. To receive a phone. To take the Verizon survey and receive a free phone and pay just for shipping. They charge me for shipping and then they charge me another $59 for I don't know what Are my visions credit card.

Was approached via messenger for Facebook marketplace as a buyer and asked for cell number to verify me as a legitimate seller. I gave it, they send me a code then said it didn't work so asked for another cell. I refused and they became very pushy. I blocked the chat but don't know what will happen now that they have my cell.

the scammer eluded that I had a package that could not be delivered, from China, which needed an update of information to “redeliver” (phone number, email, name, address, etc.)

I received a text message that my package couldn’t be delivered because of an incomplete address. I went to the link provided to correct my address https://ups-koiert.us/ After entering my address it said they would charge 3.00 to redeliver the package and asked for my credit card number.

I posted two items for sale on Facebook marketplace. Immediately I had several parties expressing interest. Their names, probably fake, were Candy Lee, Rahul Siroha, Momtazul Hoque Naym, Jessica Latha, Lisa James, Nancy Back, & Jenny Linda. They asked to send me a six digit verification to ensure I was legit. I gave out my phone number only a couple times and only once, to Momtazul, did I send back the verification number before I started to realize that something wasn’t adding up. And so I told all of them to back off and I stopped communicating. I then googled and found that the scam is an old one. I deleted all messages and blocked everyone.

Still, I fear that my phone number (which is quite old and probably long-ago compromised anyway) is now in the hands of these *******. Thoughts?

my bank account information was stolen by a third-party website Moviesscope Cs.com and charged by this company. I did not give permission for my account to be charged. I have never heard of this company. They are NOT a legitimate company. When I went online to look the company up nothing is there. The website does not even exist. the website is also listed on scam advisor as a scam. they went through another website to steal my information. Due to me having my card in my possession when this happened my bank is refusing to issue me a refund.
