They used my husband's legal name and referenced a case number that was a local area coded phone number (not associated with us) asking us to confirm address and date/time for delivery. We both blocked the calls and reported as spam.

I was contacted and asked if I was, "(my mother's name)" when I answered no, they informed me I was listed as a point of contact and that they were a process server trying to serve legal papers on my mother for a court-related matter. They asked me to take a message to have her call them. When i pushed and tried to get more details (ie what jurisdiction (state or federal) the legal matter was in, or what it was regarding they got combative on the phone with me, claimed to have disclosure laws keeping them from explaining more to me, and ultimately hung up on me when I would not comply.

We don't live in that county and that county is nowhere in our state. There's one in Texas but we've never lived in Texas. When I ask her where Harris County is she refuses to tell me and hangs up.
