Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

I received a text from Personal Loans. Ross Davis. The text came from 800-861-8579. Congratulations. This message was to inform you due to the low awareness campaign your loan application has been successfully approved by the approval department. Approved for $8000 as the minimum and up to $2000 as the maximum. This is backwards. You may reach us at 850-655-8840. They want me to send $1200 upfront by Cash App for taxes. I did not send any money. I wanted to report the text.

They got my wife's social security number. They promised to fix her credit, and give her a $1500 loan. I was in the bathroom at the time, so I wasn't able to tell her to hang up the phone.

The gentleman told me that I could get a loan for 8,000.00, but 1st they had to deposit insurance money for me to pay the policy in case I lost my job, once I sent that money out then I would receive the 8,000.00 in my account. I'm in the stage where they wire it to my account, I will be asking my bank to follow up

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

This company will tell you you've qualified for a personal loan for $5000 or $10000. Theyll ask you to buy ITunes cards and picture text the number in the back of the ITunes cards. They'll keep telling you you're going to get the loan until you've sent them large amount of monies. They even ask for your mobile app information to deposit two checks which will compromise your account.
