Contacted on email from a recruiter Susan Andrews for remote work position as an Executive Assistant with Penumbra, Inc. We corresponded through RingCentral and I had a few tasks to complete to show my skillset which is not uncommon with remote positions, however, after receiving the offer letter and more importantly the onboarding process, I was skeptical. Both the offer letter and onboarding process seemed legit and looked just like Penumbra logo's, etc. Once they said I would be sent a check for $100 as a sign on bonus then the rest would be used to buy office equipment I knew that was not right. I received a check for $3999.99 in the mail. This is a total scam - beware of anything from Denaris Industries Inc.
